I needed something to protect my nose after I had my rhinoplasty, and post op rhinoplasty instructions can be challenging especially the first week when you are itching to shower and hair wash. This helped me achieve my need to shower and hair wash, of course, practice caution and making sure to not get my nose especially my incision sites wet. This is practical and useful. Tip: just as the other reviewer mentioned, be sure to clean your forehead before putting this visor on so it sticks onto your skin/forehead during use. I used a cotton pad with micellar water to clean my forehead right before use and it worked for me.

My granddaughter has autism and one of the things that bothers her the most is water in the face or ears. Washing her hair or being places where water is splashing would upset her. We used to put a towel over her eyes when washing her hair, but that gets drenched after a while. She is often upset and cries at shower times, but is fine when I get her hair wrapped in a turbie twist hair towel and we finish the shower. This product is awesome. I told her about them coming and then showed her them before we first used one. She was excited but nervous to try, but once we got it on and she realized it was true, there would be no water in the eyes, she was smiling and singing while I washed her hair. I recommend this! It has been one of the best purchases I have ever made in my life. Why? It made her sing instead of cry! Thank you!

Worked very well ! After eye surgery I needed to keep water away from my eye so the umbrella worked fine!!

Had micro blading done and could not get eyebrows wet for a week. Was able to shower and face stayed dry. I would not trust it for hair washing though.
