This set includes five different shades of brown. The lightest color is called Blonde and is suggested for those with light to dark blonde hair. They have included an eyebrow pencil for the full spectrum of hair colors. From a marketing perspective, I found the packaging of the eye brown pencils to be odd because most people do not change their hair color from blonde to auburn to brown or black. I appreciate that they included so many eyebrow pencils in the same box.

I have dark brown hair and a melanated skin complexion. I chose the pencil intended for blondes, which was the lightest color, and it looked just fine on my eyebrows. I sampled the other colors in the box too. The other colors also looked fine on me. So, I would take their recommendations for matching hair color to pencil choice with a big grain of salt.

The pencil has a wide flared tip. I have only used an eye brown pencil with a sharp pointy tip. I could color in my eyebrow faster because the tip was wider than a pencil with a pointy tip. I used the pencil to fill in my eyebrows to make them look fuller. I was able to do that, and make my eyebrows look mostly natural. The tip was firm, which made it easier to create lines that were going in the same direction as my natural eyebrows. I prefer a hard pencil over a soft eyebrow pencil and eyebrow pomades because it is easier to control the pencil and to create a more natural looking eyebrow, which is always my goal.

I would not describe this as a professional eyebrow pencil. The quality is good, not great. The eyebrow pencil is waterproof. I was able to fill in my eyebrows and make them look fuller and natural. My eyebrows still looked like my eyebrows, which is what I wanted.

I also think it is interesting that these eyebrow pencils do not require a pencil sharpener. When you need more eyeliner, you unwrap the pencil from the top to expose more of the pencil. That is really convenient. Five eyebrow pencils for $15 is very economical. That is $3 per eyebrow pencil. This is a great buy at $3 per pencil.

Nice set of 6 pencils of different colors. They are peel pencils so there is a small white string that is pulled to release more of the pencil.

The pencils are waterproof and in my picture is the auburn version on my hand. It took a handful of strokes to get the color, which I do prefer less application with each stroke so that I can tailor the shading to my suiting..
The entire box was sealed prior and the tips of each of the pencils are good. Expires 11/2026, so good shelf life.

This set of pencils by Brawna is great to have on hand. Whether it’s to map or fill in your brows, this set has various shades of Brown that are sure to match or highlight your desired look. The pencils come in a box with an included razor to help keep them sharp. There is also a little string that helps peel back the layers of the pencils, so these are easy to use, maintain and sharpen. The darkest brown worked best for me, as I fill in my brows so I know this one will be used most. The other colors are nice, but several are a little too light for my skin tone and brows. I’d really love if a six pack of one color were sold, as I’d definitely re-order that! Other than that, these pencils don’t take much effort to fill in, line, or shade your brows, hairline, beard, etc., so again, easy to use and as far as smudging, not too bad and a quick, easy fix.
